The husband and I tend to go grocery shopping together one of the days. It is our way of spending time together and talking about what is coming up in our weeks. Recently it has been over lunch time which can be very expensive at the store. But today we bought green lentil pies and spinach pies that the grocery store stocks from our favorite Lebanese restaurant. Which made grocery shopping worth it, Yum!
This weekend was a very crafty weekend for me. I am still working on the wreath. I have been pulling some of the pins out all day and wishing that the starch to dry. So I have put a fan on it to see if I could speed-up the drying. I went to Michaels to look for the porcelain glaze and they only had one product and it was not what the pattern recommended. So I have decided that I am going to try polyurethane instead. I was hoping to get one coat on today but with the time change the sun will not be up long enough, darn.
So while at Michaels I picked up supplies for a knitting project (that I am going to try to do this christmas when my sister is visiting) and supplies for an earring hanger. Very very cheap, a $5 frame and 39 cent plastic. It only took my a couple of minutes to make. And the very best part of it all was when my husband noticed that I did not have enough earrings to fill it up and said that Christmas was coming soon.
