Plants
What a night. The husband and I had to make a quick stop that lowes on the way home to pick up a couple of items to create an make shift green house. While there we ran into a great deal, A really great deal, on 4 x 8 sheets of plastic to make a greenhouse with!!! We had intend on putting the cost of the greenhouse into the loan when we buy a home two years from now. And we will still have to put the remainder of the greenhouse in the loan, but tonight these sheets were $100 off and we saved 2000 dollars!!! The husband and I can not seems to get over this we are both still in shock.

Weekends
It is the weekend and I tend to do just a couple of things over my weekends. One of which is sleep. I love to sleep and would sleep 14-16 hours every day if I could. When I do make it out the the bed on Saturdays, I love to watch PBS all day and just sit on the couch. Now that it is finally cool outside I make a cup of tea to go with my breakfast and snuggle up under one of my blankets. They run many great shows all in a row like old Julia Childs episodes, This Old House, Hometime, The New Yankee Workshop, and other cooking type show. It really is one of my favorite time to watch tv.
The husband and I tend to go grocery shopping together one of the days. It is our way of spending time together and talking about what is coming up in our weeks. Recently it has been over lunch time which can be very expensive at the store. But today we bought green lentil pies and spinach pies that the grocery store stocks from our favorite Lebanese restaurant. Which made grocery shopping worth it, Yum!
This weekend was a very crafty weekend for me. I am still working on the wreath. I have been pulling some of the pins out all day and wishing that the starch to dry. So I have put a fan on it to see if I could speed-up the drying. I went to Michaels to look for the porcelain glaze and they only had one product and it was not what the pattern recommended. So I have decided that I am going to try polyurethane instead. I was hoping to get one coat on today but with the time change the sun will not be up long enough, darn.
So while at Michaels I picked up supplies for a knitting project (that I am going to try to do this christmas when my sister is visiting) and supplies for an earring hanger. Very very cheap, a $5 frame and 39 cent plastic. It only took my a couple of minutes to make. And the very best part of it all was when my husband noticed that I did not have enough earrings to fill it up and said that Christmas was coming soon.

The First Post Ever
My very first post!! I am joining the rest of the world and creating a blog. I decided after joining Ravelry my crafting is so much more then my crocheting. And I wanted to be able to document all the fun and share it with others.
Today I made my first loaf of onion rye bread. Now I am a bread machine user but I don't use boxed breads. An onion rye bread:

The next project I worked on today was a very old crochet project that I never could get to block correctly to finish it. Today I spent over four hours pinning it to an old sketcher box and piping insulation. With Lots and lots of starch. Now I have to wait for it to dry, which should be by morning. Then go to Michaels (YEAH) and buy some porcelain glaze give it two coats. This project has always been for my mother. I am hoping to get it finish before Thanksgiving so that she can have it out for the Christmas holiday. Here is a current picture of it in the living room floor (it can not be moved because the pins went into the carpet).
